James V. Pugliese has over 29 years of experience in the fields of training, public speaking, sales, and management. He is a guest lecturer at Siena
College, University at Albany, HVCC, Empire State College and the College of St. Rose. He is on the faculty of the American Institute of Banking and
the NYS Ass'n of REALTORS. Jim served on the Executive Board of the Hudson-Mohawk chapter of ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) and
is a 10-year member of the National Speakers Association. In 1999, Jim was listed in "Who's Who in the Speaking Profession". He has conducted over
1000 seminars throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and presented programs at many state and national conventions. He is
a nationally recognized authority on visibility, marketing, communication skills, sales training, real estate and customer service. He has had numerous
articles published in national trade journals. Jim has built an excellent reputation as an international trainer, speaker, seminar presenter, and
workshop leader.
Jim has been in the real estate business for over 19 years. He started as
a salesman, and later served as branch manager, corporate
recruiter, and corporate trainer. He was formerly Vice President
and Director of Training for the 25th largest Coldwell Banker
Affiliate in North America based in Albany, NY.
Jim is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS. He is 2000 Chairman of NAR's Education
Committee. He was 1995 President of the 2000-member Greater Capital Association of REALTORS in Albany, NY.
In 1990, the Albany County Board of REALTORS honored Jim as their "REALTOR- of-the-Year".
Jim is a Senior GRI (Graduate, REALTORS Institute) course instructor for state associations in New York, Massachusetts, and Nevada.
He has his own training company "JIM PUGLIESE SEMINARS" and he conducts over 120 seminars and workshops annually across the United States,
Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Jim is a 10-year member of the National Speakers Association.
Jim recently presented real estate seminars on a multi-city tour of New Zealand and Australia. He has also been featured on two real
estate satellite networks. Jim has conducted seminars at 8 annual conventions of the National Association of REALTORS. In November of 1993,
at the NAR annual convention in Miami, Florida,...Jim was honored as the Number One Speaker at the convention
based on evaluations submitted by seminar attendees.
He was ranked one of the Top 3 speakers at the 1996, 1997,and 1998 NAR conventions as over 1500 people attended each of his
education sessions. In 1999 in Orlando, Jim achieved a 3.89 rating out of 4.0 making him again one of the top NAR speakers.
